D&D Manufacturing — Canton, Georgia

Welding Services.

TIG. MIG. Spot. Brazing. Done right since 1963.

The weld is where every fabrication project lives or dies. We've been doing this for over 60 years — TIG for precision, MIG for production, structural welding for the jobs that need to hold — all with documented procedures and experienced hands on every pass.

The weld
holds everything.

A bad weld fails in the field. A good one you never think about again. We use the right process for the job — TIG where precision matters, MIG where speed and strength are the priority — and we back it up with documented welding procedures on every project.

  • TIG welding for tight-tolerance, thin-wall, and critical joints
  • MIG welding for structural assemblies and high-volume production runs
  • Spot welding for sheet metal components requiring clean, fast joins
  • Brazing for dissimilar metals and high-heat or leak-tight applications
  • Documented qualified procedures available on request
  • Welding integrated directly with our machining and fabrication departments

How We Work

Fit-up to
finished weld.

Every welded assembly goes through the same four steps — from the moment parts hit the weld fixture to the moment they leave the shop inspected and ready for the next operation.

01

Fit-Up & Tack

Parts are fit to drawing dimensions, clamped to fixture, and tack-welded to lock position before full weld passes begin. Alignment is confirmed before we commit.

02

Full Weld Passes

TIG or MIG passes are run per procedure — filler selection, travel speed, heat input all dialed for the material and joint. No improvising on production parts.

03

Grind & Clean

Welds are ground flush where required, spatter cleaned, and the assembly dressed. Parts going to paint get bead blasted in-house — no extra trip to a sub.

04

Inspect & Hand Off

Final visual and dimensional inspection against drawing. Parts go straight to machining, paint, or shipping — everything under one roof means no hand-off delays.

What We Weld

Welding Applications.

Structural Assemblies

Load-bearing frames, machine bases, structural supports, and heavy weldments built to hold up under real-world stress and load cycles.

Precision TIG Welding

Thin-wall tube, tight-tolerance brackets, stainless assemblies, and any joint where MIG is too aggressive or too rough for the application.

Production MIG Welding

High-volume runs with consistent, repeatable weld quality from part one to part one thousand. Same procedure, same result, every time.

Aluminum Welding

Aluminum requires its own technique, filler, and prep. We weld it regularly — clean joints, no porosity, no excuses about it being difficult material.

Brazing

Dissimilar metal joints, leak-tight assemblies, and applications where the base metal can't tolerate fusion welding temperatures. Done in-house, not farmed out.

Weld Repair & Retrofit

Cracked weldments, broken components, or assemblies that need modification — we repair and retrofit existing parts to get them back in service fast.
